A bit more about me and the website.... I, Jochem, am the lead writer of ADD characteristics, am HSP (high sensitive person) and diagnosed with ADD. After many years of trial and error, trying everything and learning a lot from therapists, coaches, psychologists, fellow ADDers, ADHDers and HSPers and from books, I can now call myself an expert by experience. I am getting better and better at living with my ADD and like to share my findings, tips and advice with 'fellow sufferers'. That is why I set up the website ADD characteristics founded. Fortunately, until we die, our brain is neuroplastic which means we can always retrain our brain regardless of the severity of symptoms. (Creating new neurological connections) We are able to change our unhelpful patterns into helpful ones. This not only makes us feel a lot better, it also makes us a lot more successful.
